I thought myself pretty shrewd when I took the last bit of 9/2 about BELATRIX LESTRANGE last night and it looks to have been a wise move. Best priced 3/1 as I write this, I don’t seem to be the only one who fancies Henry Daly’s mare to go close at Ludlow this afternoon. Her victory here last time out couldn’t have worked out much better with the second place horse coming out and winning comfortably off a 3lb higher mark at Exeter. The third horse home that day has also held it’s form well so it certainly looks a solid enough race and there are plenty of reasons to think the selection has a strong chance off just a 6lb higher mark. Richard Johnson is back to do the steering which can only aid her cause.
